We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

- One Account Per Person: Each individual may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all associated accounts.

Registration & Security
- Account Creation: You may register using your email address and password, or through Google OAuth. Your password is secured using hybrid encryption (Scrypt + RSA) and is never stored in plain text.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
- Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized that activity.
Account Termination
- Voluntary Deletion: You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed.
- Company-Initiated Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or if required by law.
- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any data associated with your account may be permanently deleted.

Prohibited Conduct
- Cheating & Manipulation: Using unauthorized tools, scripts, or methods to manipulate quiz results, scores, or leaderboards.
- Automated Access: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or any automated means to access, collect data from, or interact with the Service without our express written permission.
- Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Interference: Attempting to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any aspect of the Service, including quiz content encryption.
- Abuse & Harassment: Engaging in any conduct that is abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory toward other users.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its contents are protected by intellectual property laws.
- Ownership: All content on the Service — including quiz questions, answers, explanations, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Celestiq Insights (OPC) Pvt Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without our prior written consent.
- User Content: By submitting feedback, suggestions, or any content to us, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and incorporate such content into the Service.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CELESTIQ INSIGHTS (OPC) PVT LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (INR One Thousand), whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Celestiq Insights (OPC) Pvt Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.

Account Information
When you create an account, we collect information necessary to provide you with our Service.
- Email Registration: Full Name, Email Address, and Password. Your password is secured using hybrid encryption (Scrypt + RSA) and is never stored in plain text.
- Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Name, Email Address, Google Account ID, and Profile Picture URL from Google's OAuth service. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Session Data: Upon successful authentication, we create a secure session to maintain your login state.
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information about how you interact with our Service to improve user experience and platform performance.
- Quiz Interactions: Quiz completion data, scores, and performance metrics to provide you with results and track your progress.

Technical Data
Certain technical information is collected automatically for security and service delivery purposes.

- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR and DPDPA 2023, we process your data based on the following legal grounds:
- Consent: You provide explicit consent when creating an account and agreeing to this Privacy Policy. For analytics cookies, consent is obtained through Google Consent Mode v2 where legally required.

Google (OAuth & Analytics)
We use Google OAuth 2.0 for optional sign-in functionality and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Consent Mode v2 for anonymised usage analytics. Google processes data under their own Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare (Hosting & Database)
Our Service is hosted on Cloudflare's global network. User data is stored in Cloudflare D1 databases with automatic location detection, meaning your data is served from the nearest available region for optimal performance. Cloudflare processes data under their own Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising.
Data Storage & International Transfers
Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 databases, which use automatic location detection to serve data from the nearest available region. This means your data may be stored and processed in different jurisdictions depending on your geographic location.
Where data is transferred across borders, such transfers are protected by Cloudflare's data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses that ensure an adequate level of protection in compliance with GDPR and DPDPA 2023.
We do not maintain our own physical servers. All infrastructure is provided by Cloudflare, a globally recognised provider with comprehensive security certifications.
Your Data Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Correction: You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to Deletion: You have the right to request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete all your information without retaining any data intentionally.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes, including analytics.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Children's Privacy
Our Service provides educational and informational content suitable for users of all ages. The content served on our platform adheres to Google AdSense content guidelines.

- Password Encryption: Passwords are secured using hybrid encryption (Scrypt for hashing + RSA for key management) and are never stored in plain text.

- Rate Limiting: Authentication endpoints are protected by IP-based rate limiting to prevent brute-force attacks and automated abuse.
- Secure OAuth: Google Sign-In uses PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange) with state parameters to prevent CSRF and authorization code interception attacks.
- Data Minimisation: We collect only the data that is strictly necessary for the operation of our Service.
